Julia was born and raised in Coventry.
She attended Hearsall, Spon Gate and Southfields Primary schools, and her secondary education was at Hearsall and Lyng Hall.
Her career has been in finance, having worked in both the private and public sector; her work experiences include Jaguar Cars and West Midlands Police where she was recently a finance manager.
Julia is a member of the Council's Finance, Corporate and Neighbourhood Services Scrutiny Board and the Health and Social Care Scrutiny Board.
Julia is married and has three children.
In her spare time she is an active member of Hearsall Baptist Church where she serves as Treasurer.
